I live in San Francisco, California and work as a software designer at Meta focusing on accounting products. I spend my time running, photographing, and saying “hello” to dogs.

After graduating from Cornell University I joined a small startup named iControl Networks (now Alarm.com) designing home automation and home security software. Five years quickly passed at iControl and I left to work at several more startups focusing on mobile, social, and, of course, Bluetooth radios. In 2017 I joined Salesforce to redesign the Salesforce Mobile App. After a few years I jumped at the opportunity to lead a team of incredible designers who worked on mobile, Experience Cloud, and AI.

Here I write thoughts about design and various products with an emphasis on Apple circa 1990-2000. If you subscribe every post goes directly to your inbox.
